As per Emirates airlines pet policy, Dubai doesn’t accept the following breeds. United Arab Emirates Government regulations have banned these breeds or their hybrids/mixed breed.

These breeds may be accepted for carriage if –

Important Information about Restricted Breeds

  • Emirates SkyCargo can accommodate these breeds if not traveling to the UAE. However, these breeds are transported only with permission of origin and destination authorities with  the correct permits/licenses, if applicable.
  • Reinforced and upgraded containers are a must for these dogs.
  • Emirates SkyCargo doesn’t transport greyhounds for commercial activities. Domesticated greyhounds and the rescued ones are transported.
Restrictions to accept cats and dogs

Minimum age – 15 weeks

From a ‘High Risk’ country, the age can be  27 weeks.
